Marcus is a dedicated and passionate piano and vocal instructor with years of experience in music education.  Holding a Bachelor's degree in Music Perofrmance from CCNY, Marcus is currently working towards his Master's in Music Education at Hunter College.

Marcus combines his deep theoretical knowledge with practical expertise to offer comprehsive lessons tailored to each student's unique needs.  His approach is rooted in fostering a love for music while emphasizing technical profiency and expressive performance.  

Marcus has taught students of all ages and skill leves.  His teaching philosophy centers of patience, encouragement, and adaptability, ensuring that each lesson is both enjoyable and educational.  He believes in building a strong foundation in music theory and technique, which allows students to explore various genres and styles confidently.  

In addition to his teaching career, Marcus is an accomplished performer, having graced numerous stages as both a solo artist and a member of various ensembles.  His extensive performance experience enriches his teaching, providing students with valuable insights into stage presence and interpretation.  Marcus is committed to inspiring his students to teach their full potential and to discover the transformative power of music.
