Cara

Cara started playing violin when she was five years old.  In middle school she joined her Manhattan Chamber Ensemble where she played tango music with Latin Grammy-Winning Bassist, Pedro Giraudo.  Throughout high school she was principal second-violin in the Siwanoy Sinfonietta and Catalyst Youth Orchestra and she played under two current Broadway conductors.

In addition to violin, Cara is diverse in her musical accomplishments.  She is a skilled pianist and guitarist, playing in acoustic bands throughout high school.  She is an also singer in the Immacuate Conception Adult Choir, and she had the honor of teaching ukulele in Kitwe, Zambia.

Simultaneously, Cara attended the prestigious Manhattan School of Music Precollege program as a classical harp major; she was the principal in the Symphonic Orchestra.  

Currently, Cara attends Fordham University where she majors in music and sits as the principal harpist for Fordham's Symphony Orchestra.  She has taught music lessons for many years and is honored to share her passions through education.
