Meet Carlee – Mezzo-Soprano, Performer, and Passionate Voice Teacher

Carlee is a talented mezzo-soprano currently pursuing her Master of Music in Voice Performance at Montclair State University. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance with a minor in Performing Arts from Iowa State University and has experience across a wide range of vocal genres.

As a performer, Carlee has brought numerous roles to life, including Wise Mouse 3 in Michael Ching’s opera Cinderella’s Royal Feast, Prince Orlofsky in Strauss II’s Die Fledermaus, and Belle in Beauty and the Beast, among others. She has performed at conferences such as the National Opera Association and the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and has been active in opera studios, jazz ensembles, and musical theatre productions.

Carlee has also taught students for several years, helping them develop healthy vocal technique while embracing their unique, authentic voices. She believes every student can experience the joy and confidence that comes from singing and performing.
